News and Updates

-I've added a link for a Flickr site of my student's work, right underneath the image immediately to the left. Teaching is a really rewarding aspect of my practice as an artist, and I encourage you to check out exactly what it is that I try to encourage students to do in my classrooms.

- (5/10) Since January of this year, I have been working as the Arts Correspondent for the Athen's alt-weekly newspaper, The Flagpole. I write Art Notes, which appears in print every two weeks -- although now that I'm out of school, it may become a weekly event.

- (5/10) Updated Work page. Added some shots of thesis projects, paintings from Italy, and my really huge drawing installation, End of Silence.

- (6/10) I will be teaching a short workshop in bookbinding and reliquaries at the Quinlan Arts Center in Gainesville, Georgia, in the beginning of June. This is a perfect lead-in to my next piece of exciting news-

- (6/10) My boyfriend and I have started an online literary magazine, Marco Polo Quarterly. Featuring poetry, short-shorts ,essays and interviews. I'm associate editor, and will be a regular contributor to each publication. As for print manifestations of Marco Polo, check back here for more details.
